How can I utilize NUMBERING from within the PageTree function?
Where and who could help expand this function with such a feature?
I would like to NUMBER my List of Illnesses.
Currently the only SYNTAX available is: PageTree
Helmut:
No, the numbers in the pagetree defines only the limit of the depth ( to the right side of the tree)
What you mean is the "counters" of the LIstpages module
%%children%% shows the total number of all children ( direct children of the 1. depth only!)
%%index%% is the "running" numbe of the children till the %%total%% - which is more than the limit of the "perPage".
I would try to usew the module ListPages with the parent="illnesses" or link_to="illnesses" parameter
[[module ListPages category="*" order="name" parent="illnesses" perPage="200"]]
Count of children: %%total%%
[[/module]]
[[module ListPages category="*" order="name" parent="illnesses" perPage="200"]]
%%index%% %%title_linked%% Count of children: %%children%%
[[/module]]
Example
with parent-page Gallery with external images
1. search.gif Count of children: 0
2. Italy Florence Ponte Vecchio Count of children: 0
3. Italy Florence Pallazo Vecchio Detail Count of children: 0
4. Italy Florence Dome and town Count of children: 0
5. testpage with NO url of image Count of children: 0
6. Union Buildings, Pretoria, South Africa Count of children: 0
7. Einstein 1921 portrait2.jpg Count of children: 0
8. Community Mindmeister Count of children: 0
9. Community_V07 Count of children: 0
10. My LGB Train (near) Count of children: 0
11. My LGB Train - Big Mallet Count of children: 0
12. Italy Florence palazzo vecchio Count of children: 0
13. Italy Florence Ponte Vecchio Count of children: 0
14. My LGB Train (G) Count of children: 0
Peter:
Thank you Helmut! That's what I actually meant having running (line) numbers for the list. ;-)
