After the first tab of your nested (child) tabview, the [[/tab]] tag ends the tab of the parent tabview, NOT the child tabview. So, the rest of the tabs become switched (the parent tabs move into the nested tabview, and the child tags move to the parent tabview).

It's hard to tell when there are an equal number of tabs, i.e. as this author has done - "A, B, C" and "1, 2, 3" - but note that the tabs go "A, 2, 3" in the parent tabview and "1, B, C" in the nested tabview.

You should really ask these type of questions in the main community forum, not the playground site. I only saw this because I'm watching this site for reasons I can't explain. ;-)

BUT: a "search thru a wiki" is one of the fundamental functionalities of a wiki.

What you perhaps mean / need is a special search with some categorties switched off? (you can make them "private" - only visible for admins)

This is exact the same what wikidot does - controlling the accounts by email adress verifying.

And: a "private" site cannot be viewn by non wikidot accounts ( they are anonymous to wikdiot)
and: a "closed" site can be viewn by all ( also anonymous ).

I see no useful advantage … I see only the business spam link to an outer business!

No, anyone can view a closed site even if they don't have a Wikidot account.

Like Helmut, I don't really see the point of this. I think everything you want to do can be done via categories and permissions and you just seem to be creating another username and password system, so why not use the Wikidot account system?

If you need a private site - which allows in the free account only 5 members ( and more in the reading only part!) then there is the difference only 5 members more in the free account type of this extra business, and they cannot comment or post or edit something ( without membership of wikidot iself ) in your site.

If you need more members you have to pay this extra account business with a monthly fee which is equal the first upgrade-costs of wikidots pro light.

And they cannot do anything on wikidot without creating their own account on wikidot also.

I see no advantage for such extra filter.

With the old name we got a category "listpages-using:" … the Title is the same.

Therefore with the "default" _template usage the "comments" are back …

Background:

Having played around with INCLUDE Files for a while and used them, I have now thought of a stand-alone INCL File Library for Wikidot, for some time.
Now, I have actually sat down with a friend, and created just that.

Problem:

The problem now is the passing of the sort parameters to the page calling itself, using the ListPages module.
I would like to use differently populated links, to call the same page, to the list in various ways.
- I hope and suspect there is just a small thing I have overlooked again!

I once used a CSS on my website

All elements of the CSS on any Wikidot site can be changed and therefore you have complete total control over how your site looks. So as well as dataforms and live templates, learning CSS is a good idea if you don't want to stick with the default themes or the ones on the themes site.

I can see the page options buttons. Where are they missing? Oh, right, I used a version that omitted some of the buttons. I'll change it now.

Lost Buttons …

'Somebody' must have been fiddling with the CSS … layout.

The outline of the buttons also changed from yellow to white.
I have gotten used to the yellow by now they stand out better.

I quite like the QUIZ idea !!

As I want to start my courses next year these should come in handy.
I will have to learn how to do more stuff in an automated fashion, using forms and CSS and Templates … but somehow I always seem to just lack the extra time needed to learn new tricks !

Edit: I can see on the admin:css page the parent button is under display:none….
but I am not good enough to change it to the needed status..

Peter, I don't use the playground site (I test on one of my own sites) but it is extemely useful. However it is is not a replacement for the community site how-tos. So if you think that some of your work would fit well on the how-tos do let us know.
