Tags: bulleted-list include infobox list-in-cell table variable
There is a question on the forum about this wish - to use a bullet list for titles in ONE cell:
http://community.wikidot.com/forum/t-12867131/bulleted-lists-inside-of-infobox-templates#post-4451937
Infobox template: ( see also page individual_infobox-old
[[table]]
[!--{$titlesYes}-][[row]]
[[cell]]**Title(s)**[[/cell]][[cell]]{$titles}[[/cell]]
[[/row]][!-- --]
[[/table]]
And this is on the actual page ( this page on test):
[[include include:individual_infobox-old
| titlesYes=- | titles=title 1 |
title 2
]]
gives:
Title(s) | title 1 title 2 |
How would I be able to add the two titles in a bulleted list within the same cell?
I tried adding asterisks in front of "title 1" and "title 2", but it just ruined the template. Is there something I have to put in the template itself to allow bulleted lists format correctly in the actual page?Thanks!
My test here with page individual-infobox-new:
[[table]]
[!--{$titlesYes}-][[row]]
[[cell]]**Title(s)**[[/cell]]
[[cell]]* {$titles1} _
* {$titles2} [[/cell]]
[[/row]][!-- --]
[[/table]]
with this usage:
[[include include:individual-infobox-new
| titlesYes=- | titles1=title 1 | titles2=title 2
]]
gives :
Title(s) | * title 1 * title 2 |
My test here with page individual-infobox-new2
[[table]]
[!--{$titlesYes}-][[row]]
[[cell]]**Title(s)**[[/cell]]
[[cell]]{$titles1} _
{$titles2} [[/cell]]
[[/row]][!-- --]
[[/table]]
with this usage:
[[include include:individual-infobox-new2
| titlesYes=- | titles1=* title 1 | titles2=* title 2
]]
gives :
Title(s) | * title 1 * title 2 |
The trick is the next-line command (space+Undescore+Enter) inside the cell to have a next line!
The trick works with the linefeed, but the bulleted list is not rendered .. :( |
